When I started working for Mile Square Church in November 2020, the branding of the website and overall image were off to a great start. However, the church’s Wix site definitely needed some more thought behind the information included and how it was presented.
One thing I changed was the calls to action. From my experience raising over $120,000 in 2017 I learned that it’s always best just to talk to people directly so that we can learn about them more and explain how Mile Square is relevant in their life.
Pastor Matt and I decided to start a newcomers' Zoom on Monday nights. To get on the Zoom call people just need to text us the word “new” or fill out our connect card. They’ll be put in a group with an automated workflow until they’ve connected with Matt.
This is the one thing we encourage newcomers to do on all our platforms.

This is the pop up we use because no matter how annoying they are, pop ups work!



I’ve worked to streamline the information we communicate on the website (being new to the website, I myself was confused about a few things). I’ve added some animation and interactive elements, as well as more consistent formatting.
